When Andy Cumber of Q's Comic Store & Ben Garwood of HR4K asked us along for the ride, we couldn't wait to get started.
Q-Con was a true celebration of community spirit, bringing together fans, local businesses, enthusiasts, creators, and industry leaders in a dynamic and immersive experience.
Over 2 days, thousands in attendance flooded the convention eager to immerse themselves in the captivating world of comics, movies, wrestling, live music, great food and art.
Andy did a fantastic job bringing in a mightily impressive array of 60+ exhibitors, from local comic book stores to major film franchises, each vying for the attention of the devoted crowds and providing endless hours of entertainment.
Adding to the electrifying atmosphere were the appearances of renowned actors, acclaimed artists, and influential producers, who captivated audiences with exclusive sneak peeks, insightful panel discussions, and autograph sessions that allowed attendees to connect directly with the creative minds shaping their beloved franchises. What a huge coupe for little ole rural Hereford!
This was more than just a gathering of like-minded individuals – it was a celebration of the power of community, where businesses could thrive, artists could inspire, kids could meet their heroes and fans could revel in the boundless possibilities of their favourite fictional universes.
Thank you to each and every single one of you who made this event special, from the stands, the bands, local businesses, the attendees, the volunteers and everyone who added their own personal touch, it goes without saying Q-Con 2023 was truly magical.
